Chapter 4
- Chris -

I woke up this morning feeling like shit, to make up for last night I decided to go see Robyn. I got to her house and knocked a few times. When she opened the door she looked drawn out. Her eyes were red and puffy.
“What are you doing here.?” Robyn asked. She was still upset and Chris could tell.
“I’m sorry I didn’t come see you last night, I was busy.”
Robyn stood there with her arms crossed. She rolled her eyes and motioned for him to come in. There were pictures all over the floor and a box of tissues and a pillow. Chris picked up a picture and saw Matt and Robyn kissing in one of them.
“Don’t touch them.” Robyn snatched the photo out his hand and held it up to her.”Sorry.” She said picking up all the photos off the ground and putting them back into the box. Chris had no idea who that guy was and seeing Robyn’s condition right now he didn’t bother to ask her about it. He’s never seen her like this. The past few weeks she’s been all smiles but he couldn’t judge her because he had his own skeletons in the closet that were soon to come out.
They sat on the couch in silence. Robyn was still sniffling and playing with her hands. Chris couldn’t manage to not ask her so he went for it.
“Wanna talk about.?” He asked.
Robyn hesitated but proceeded. “Yeah.”
“His names Matt. He passed away 3 years ago. I met him through his sister, we were best friends. I used to go to her house everyday and me and him would chill. We started getting feelings for each other and things went off from there. We were together for 3 longs years and it was perfect.” Robyn started to fidget so he could tell that she was going to get into the serious part.
“We were at a party, there were alot of people there. It was around midnight and we were heading home. We were both pretty drunk but He was more sober than I was. There was one more beer left and I took a sip and gave him the rest. He told me he didn’t think he should drink anymore but I kind of pushed it onto him. We were on the road and…” Robyn stopped and tears filled her eyes.
“There was a car coming into the next lane and he cut us off. Matt didn’t see the car so he swerved quick and lost control. It happened so fast I didn’t know what was going on. It wasn’t until I woke into the hospital that I realized what had happened. The first person I asked for was Matt. They all told me that He was ejected from the car and died on the spot. I thought I lost my heart and life in that moment.” Robyn caught her breath trying to talk through her cries.
“Everyone in his family blamed me because they tested his alcohol level and it was above the limit. If i hadn’t have gave him that one last beer he wouldn’t be dead right now. Everyday I blame myself and something always comes into my life that reminds me of him and what happened.”
Chris looked at the box of pictures. He figured that she must of gotten them recently. He reached over to her and pulled her into his arms while she let out the last few tears.
“It’s okay. I’m here for you.” His phone vibrated and he looked at the screen. It said “Rue.” He couldn’t deal with the her right now. This was more important to him.
- Rue -

Chris wasn’t answering my calls and It was making me very irritated. He probably was with that bitch that was in his phone. I looked at the picture we took from last night. Why didn’t he want to be with me again. We lasted a good two years until this bitch came along.
I knew I had to do everything in my power to get him back. I picked up my laptop and typed in Robyn Fenty. A article came up talking about someone dying in car crash and I wasn’t sure if it was the same “Robyn” but I had a gut feeling. I saved the article on my computer and shut it down. I decided to call Ty up to see if he could help me.
“Wassup” Ty said.
“Chilling. I was going to ask you how Chris was.?” I said thinking I could get something out of him.
“Oh…you know he stay working now other than that he’s good, why you ask.”
“Nothing just wondering how he’s been. I miss him. Um. Is he seeing anybody.?”
“Uh….Naw.” Ty said.
Rue knew he was lying. He wouldn’t put his bro’s business out there on the street like that unless Chris wanted him to so he wasn’t going to tell her.
“Mmkay that’s all I wanted to know. Catch you later.” Rue hung up the phone.
Well that wasn’t much help. Ty isn’t going to tell me anything. I just didn’t want this Robyn girl getting in the way of things I had planned. I needed him back.
- Ty -

I wasn’t about to tell nothing to Rue about my bro. Even when they were together something threw me off about her. She was just another hoe wanting attention. Chris looked good with Robyn and I respected her and my babe enough not to get them involved with her messy ass.
“Babe come here.” Ty said to Melissa.
“What is it. ?” Melissa asked.
“Tell me why Rue just hit me up asking if Chris was seeing anybody.”
“And what did you say.?”
“I told her naw. I don’t want your sister getting involved with her. When I tell you that bitch is crazy, she’s crazy.”
Melissa’s started to get mad. She would be the first one to kill any bitch that tried to come for her sister. “Ty you already know how I am about my sister.”
Ty saw that Melissa was ready to kill and he knew how she was.
“I know that’s why I didn’t say shit but it’s all good. I got you.” He said kissing her. Ty was going to call Chris up but he felt like Chris already had enough going on and he didn’t need anymore problems so he left it at that.
